Davis, 59, was briefly detained on Thursday morning in Arlington following an indecent exposure incident, though he was later released, until more information came to light determining that he was, in fact, a wanted man.

Shortly before 7:45 a.m. on May 9, officers from the Arlington Police Department were called to the 1800 block of North Hartford Street to investigate the reported exposure, where they met Davis, who matched the description of the suspect.

Davis was briefly detained before being released; however, it was later determined that he was wanted by the US Marshal's Service, prompting a second search for him.

Officers tracked down Davis in the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard in possession of a stolen bicycle, which had been allegedly taken from a North Hartford Street home, where the entire ordeal began.

Davis, who has no fixed address, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny. He was scheduled to make  an initial court appearance in Arlington County General District Court on Friday.
